Colorado Agency Offering Carbon Offset Credits to Reduce Clients' Impacts on the Environment

DENVER, CO, APRIL 18, 2022

In an effort to reduce the impact of CO2 emissions resulting from clients' websites, a Denver-based web design and digital advertising agency is offering carbon offsets to its customers.

Denver Crowd has announced it will be offering carbon offset credits to reduce its clients' impacts on the environment.

The announcement furthers Denver Crowd's contributions and commitment to environmental stewardship in Colorado and across the globe.

Some of Denver Crowd's clients include Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado, the City of Boulder, Woods Boss Brewing Company, the Missouri Democratic Party and Veterans to Farmers.

Denver Crowd’s services include website design and development, eCommerce management, paid search, SEO, content marketing and social media management. Their addition of carbon offset credits is designed to counteract the environmental impact of clients' digital footprints.

Alex Schupp, founder at Denver Crowd, made a statement about about the company's latest offerings:

"As we serve our clients, it's important to acknowledge not just how our work impacts our clients, but how it impacts the world.

It would be a disservice to our company and clients to ignore the substantial impact websites and digital marketing campaigns have on our environment.

That's why we at Denver Crowd have decided to hold ourselves and our clients accountable for the carbon emissions resulting from our work."

Most people imagine a digital marketing agency as a place where social posts get created, ads get launched, and reports get sent out at the end of the month. The reality is far less simple—and a lot more strategic. Behind the scenes, agencies are constantly analyzing data, adjusting campaigns, and making decisions in real time to improve performance and drive measurable growth.

Search engine optimization is often misunderstood. Many businesses assume that adding a few keywords to their homepage or publishing an occasional blog post is enough to improve rankings. When traffic does not increase, they conclude that SEO simply does not work for their industry. In reality, most SEO challenges stem from structural issues, inconsistent strategy, or incomplete implementation rather than a lack of opportunity. If your SEO efforts are not producing results, the solution is rarely more content alone. It starts with addressing the foundation.

When businesses think about redesigning their website, the first word that usually comes to mind is “refresh.” New colors. Updated fonts. Modern layout. But a high-performing website redesign is not about aesthetics. It is about performance. A strong website should generate leads, drive sales, improve search visibility, simplify content management, and clearly communicate your brand. If it only looks better but does not function better, it is not a redesign. It is decoration.

You’re getting traffic. People are clicking your ads. They’re finding you on Google. They’re even browsing your pages. But the leads? The calls? The form submissions? Crickets. If your website isn’t converting, the problem usually isn’t traffic. It’s what happens after someone lands on your site. Here’s where to start.

If your website looks good but isn’t bringing in leads, you are not alone. This is one of the most common frustrations we hear from business owners. The site isn’t “bad.” It loads, it functions, and it might even get traffic. But it still feels like it’s underperforming. The truth is, your website probably isn’t broken. It just isn’t working hard enough. A strong website does more than exist online. It guides visitors, tells a clear story, builds trust, and motivates action. When one of those pieces is missing, results stall.

If your website feels outdated, you are probably not imagining it. Design standards, user expectations, and search engine requirements evolve quickly, and what worked even a few years ago may now be holding your business back. Your website is often the first impression customers have of your brand. When it feels slow, cluttered, or difficult to use, visitors notice and often leave before taking action. Below are some of the most common reasons websites start to feel outdated, and what modern websites do differently.
